375 horse Chevy 350 for 1975 Nova Super Sport.

Crank and block checked out, so we installed the flat-top pistons to boost the compression ratio along with all new bearings.

We replaced the stock heads with new A&E high-flow, ported and polished 202s.

We installed a solid, medium lift cam with some duration changes along with 1.6 ratio aluminum roller rockers. We gave it a new chrome water pump, power steering pump, alternator, flex fan, pulleys, damper, timing cover and oil pan to make it shiny and pretty.

We switched the QJet for a new Holley 4150 and related hardware in preparation for the TORQAMP install next. We replaced the fuel pump with a new Carter electric pump and braided fuel lines.

Engine back in and doing just better than 375hp. We anticipate adding another 75-100hp from the electric supercharger. We also switched out the tranny for a custom built 700r4 to better handle the power.

While it was on the hoist, we installed the Hotchkiss 2” lowering suspension. This also required changing out the Eagle Alloys with new 16” (+2 conversion) American Racing VN515s with a little more back spacing to fit under the fenders. We also changed out the old rear drum type brakes for a completely new disc brake system.

Next up: TORQAMP electric supercharger install.

Then: We’ll add a locker to the rear end.

Here’s a short vid of the engine build and install.

The minions grab out the engine. It’s already got a decent Edelbrock intake which we’ll reuse.
