Iconic 1967 Ford Mustang. Complete restore for customer daily driver.

What we did:

Exterior: Complete restore with proper OEM Ford paint, NOS (new old stock) emblems to replace any damaged or missing emblems, new triple chrome front & rear bumpers, new tires (all 5 including spare) with nitrogen fill mounted on 15" Cragar rims. One thing you will notice is the 5 bolt wheel pattern. These cars originally came with 14" tires and wheels on a 4 bolt pattern. We upgraded the front brake system to discs for a much better stopping system. This required changing to a 5 bolt pattern which also requires changing the rear end. Instead of completely changing out the rear end, we had the rear axles machined with new faces and the proper 5 bolt pattern. This kept the tire placement in the wheel wells exactly as original so the car looks like it did in the showroom.

Mechanical: OEM 6 cylinder engine with no leaks (new valve cover gasket) and 160+ psi compression, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points & condenser, OEM carburetor freshly rebuilt, engine tuned. Completely new brake system, wheel cylinders and master cylinder, new starter, battery and cables, new radiator and hoses.

To start with the customer simply wanted us to make this car into a safe daily driver, but after we completed the mechanical upgrades they decided to go whole-hog. The look and function of this car is as close to perfect as you can get. Older Mustangs always turn heads, but this one is special even for Mustangs.
